about

Played my longest ever solo set last night, in the kitchen cellar of a crumbling mansion on the outskirts of London. I worked with the antique items in the kitchen: clay bowls, metal trays, iron tools of various types, beaters and ladles, glass bottles, as well as some bird horns and shakers of my own to perform this completely improvised, rather episodic concert. The evening was intended as involving different rooms for people to visit, rather than a full sit down event, so people came in and out, staying for a while before moving on to explore other parts of the house, and sometimes returning. As I performed I came to consider this concert a ghostly avian haunting of an already rather spooky place.
Loved playing this, hope you enjoy.
