about

Recording courtesy of The Verb on BBC Radio 3.
Commissioned by The Verb.
This is a new piece I made and performed live at the BBC's Manchester studios last month.
It was for The Verb's episode on loneliness, and for it I asked people to read a sentence from a love letter and send it to me. A huge thanks to all of those who sent over something. This piece is voiced by (or includes love letters supplied by) Paula Garcia Stone, Kjersti Andvig, Jurgen Ots, James Webb, Nick Ferguson, Tim Plaisted, Maud Ok, Sarah Lamble, Nicola Carr, Jeannette Rehnstrom, Siobhan McAlister, Gail Neill, Flavio Derbekannte + Jimmy Peggie. A huge thanks to all of these people, and to everyone who sent fragments I was not able to include.
Also special thanks to Salomé Voegelin whose text score for writing a love letter is included in this piece, and is read by her.
